Rigol 6000 Series Video
« on: May 03, 2014, 02:11:49 pm »
Hi guys,

Just realized again that the little things we take for granted on Daves videos are actually coming with some effort.
I wanted to watch something about the Rigol 6000 Series scopes and found this:

Well, interesting content but the audio is so unbearable that I had to quit watching it after around 2 minutes.
I am not so desperate after the new bits of information in this vid that I want to put up with this.

This video is made by a company who seem to sell  :-// these scopes and obviously they don't have the gear to make
good quality videos (like Dave does).

So next time you moan about something, think twice if it's really that bad  :-+

Cheers,
Chipguy

on a side note: I wonder if that probe interface is a ripoff of Agilent's autoprobe system, and if they could possibly be used on Agilent scopes.

The price seems similar

I think it is similar but not the same.
They are carefully avoiding any trouble with other companies.
