Siglent would not let me see it when I visited a few weeks ago. Got a glimspe, but it was off limits.
Thanks for the new info. I noticed that Steve, their GM from the US, was there, helping man the booth. Did anyone from here who said they were attending the show, stop by and pick up a brochure? I see that one of their new products (likely a spectrum analyzer) has a visual motif (black & white styling) reminiscent of some RTM-series scopes from Rohde & Schwarz.
If it follows the SDS2000 series development timeframe it might be a while until we see it for real.
And here, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you... the Master of Understatement.
If it does follow the SDS2000-series trajectory (and honestly, I can't see how they can afford to do that again), we should expect an announcement it will be released next May. It will actually appear next November 2015. And in May 2016 they will be promising functional improvements "soon".
As yet I don't even know the model/series, maybe someone that was in Munich can enlighten us ?
Yes, I'm surprised we've heard nothing yet from any of the attendees.
New DSO looks very interesting, seems like a larger display and a much smaller format than the SDS2000 series.
I'm happy to see them pursuing 4-channel scopes. Though I see they've moved the input BNCs back under the channel controls again, like all other scopes. I kinda liked how they bucked the trend on the SDS2000, and your knuckles weren't scraping the BNCs as you adjusted the Channel offsets.
