Power supply suggestions?
« on: April 25, 2017, 01:59:36 am »
I'm starting to work on more demanding circuits, and multi set channel power supplies saved from DVD players and VCRs aren't cutting it anymore. So, I think a adjustable power supply is in demand. Looking for a supply with adjustable current/ DC voltage and a digital readout, preferably under $200.
Any suggestions?
Thank You!

So many available from China.
Look for a specialist brand, like Manson.
Linear is better, but usually more expensive than switch mode.

I have 2 Manson SSP-7080 which I'm fairly happy with.

Being in the States, you should be looking for Agilent second-hand bench power supplies, in a range that suits your tinkering.
