The DL+ is only available in a 50 MHz model these days so I don't know if the internal SW supports higher bandwidth.
However the CML+ models do as they come in 50, 100 or 150 MHz models.

Sometime back I installed a later firmware onto a new SDS1102CML+ and for some reason it flashed it to SDS1152CML+ and my customer got a nice surprise !  ;D

SDS1000DL+/CML+ domestic markets sisters (A)

带宽   50 MHz 、70 MHz 、100 MHz、150 MHz
实时采样率
SDS1052A:500 MSa/s   <<===  This 1052 is exception in this serie with 500MSa/s max ADC system *)
SDS1072A:1 GSa/s
SDS1102A:1 GSa/s
SDS1152A:1 GSa/s
通道数   2 + EXT
存储深度
SDS1052A:32 Kpts
SDS1072A:2 Mpts
SDS1102A:2 Mpts
SDS1152A:2 Mpts

*) and because this, imho, it is difficult to think possible SW change for 1GSa/s models (different HW)
But what I have seen 52DL+  analog front end BW is really far over 50MHz. (perhaps front end like 1072A but different memory and ADC system)
72A, 102A, 152A have same 40k short and 2M long memory and max 1GSa/s
52A (as also 52DL+ outside of china) have 32k short memory alone and max 500MSa/s
Also inside these series systems there are not finnish guy Linus Thorwalds secretions and emissions.

Only what I remember that I have seen somewhere in this forum is that someone have added 2M memory to SDS1000CNL  so that is works like SDS1000CML after mod.
(and CNL or CNL+  are 1GSa/s and are not same as DL or DL+ what have 500MSa/s)
Previously there have been 25 - 200MHz models in DL series (pdf) so hardware mod for rise analog front end bandwidth is perhaps possible because I think analog front end have not changed so much.

BEV of course. Cars with smoke exhaust pipes - go to museum. In Finland quite all electric power is made using nuclear, wind, solar and water.

Wises must compel the mad barbarians to stop their crimes against humanity. Where have the (strong)wises gone?

Thank you Tautech and rf-loop.  This confirms my assumption, so me and my friend did some work.  The result is  pleasing.
This is verified on SDS1102CML+ with FW version  6.01.01.21R2 and SDS1052DL+ with FW version 6.02.01.10R2.
The trick is the same.
1) Input below command in a Notepad file and rename the file as startup.sh
#! /bin/sh
telnetd
And then put the startup.sh file in a USB disk root directory, and insert the USB disk to scope. The telnet will be  available.
2) Connect scope to local network via LAN, set IP by DHCP.
3) Open cmd window on PC, input command  ' telnet xx.xx.xx.xxx  '(means IP address of the scope)
4) Enter the user name 'root', enter the password 'ding123'
5) mount -o remount,rw,sync /usr/bin/siglent/firmdata0
6) rm /usr/bin/siglent/firmdata0/bandwidth.txt
7) Restart oscilloscope

Now go to System Status page, the model name is changed. Tested with a generator, the bandwidth is indeed  upgraded.

@miyagi, could you show me the output of this SCPI command on both scopes (CML+ and DL+)?

Would this work with the SDS1072CML+ ?

Hi ,
I saw your Hack . I have the BK 2190E which has the Siglent M/Board SDY8.007.107D CML 160700  .. some how I got screwed  :wtf: .
The original bios was 6.01.01.19  so I got the update Bios from Siglent 6.01.01.21R2 .
It excepted the update with no problem . But it did not solve my problem which is if I put 10Mhz same signal in on both channels .
set it to maths - (minus)  I should get a flat line.  some how channel 2 is out of phase by 30degs .
I am not sure if its a Bandwidth problem or software.
I also noticed that in:  Save/Recall/   Setups  /  Factory / Uptate BW , options  at the moment it has the code "CCZ24QW9JKUCT6BZ" . which can be edited.
Can someone verify this code ? or give me some help or suggestion on this. I have a Feeling that BK have rebranded this model and just added there
flash start up screen over Siglent's   :palm:
And the strange difference between CH1 & CH2.  I am using military grade cables 50 ohms of coarse. .

Thanks

Yep, somewhat cheaper.

Nope, you just didn't do enough homework.
There are 4 or 5 Siglent rebrands that I know of.
Not all models are, and other manufacturers just pick from Siglents range what they need to help complete their lineup.
Siglents most well known partnership is with LeCroy.

Hi, I did not do a lot of home work.
I just looked at what I had got and research that.
If I had got the LeCroy. in side I would have been a very happy camper
I needed my scope to finish some tests to make a customer happy.
and had already spent 2 days chasing the dogs tail as they say looking for a problem that was not there.
And the calibration function was not working correctly. Now it works and all problems solved.
and my bench is clear for another week.  and It can compares two channels  .
Thanks .
I still say companies should tell the public that its some one else's engine inside. special big well known companies like PK.  Maybe asking too much . I am Happy to have it as a Siglent  .
I look at things old school if I bought a BMW and found fiat engine under the bonnet :wtf:  .. Ferrari  i'd except.
No Hard feeling . All is good .

Hi to all,

I've got years ago an Atten ADS1062CAL. Upgraded at that times with the last Siglent firmware (perfectly working) :

Software Version 5.01.02.32
Hardware Version 6-41.2.1
Product Type SDS106X

The result is a "Siglent" 60 Mhz version.

My question is: can I upgrade it to 100 Mhz ? (Or more?)

thanks in advance !

P.S.:

1) this oscilloscope have only USB and serial port...
2) I've bought the RAM in order to upgrade this "Hybrid" to 2 Mpoints, now it has only 40Kpoints

Hi guys, I only recently replaced my 40 year old CRO with a new Siglent SDS1072CML+ and I saw that someone has successfully upgraded theirs from 70MHz to 150MHz by telnet-ing into it?
Would anyone still have the info to do this that they could PM me?
Many thanks :)

Ok so I've progressed through the instructions and updated my DSO to the latest firmware however I seem to be stuck and unable to TELNET into it because the 5025 ports are closed on my SDS 1072CML+
How did you guys open those TCP/UDP ports up to allow telnet access?

But Remember that having a faster scope with low grade Probes .
Will give the same results .

A Good scope is only as Good as its input Connections .    :-+ .

Is it possible to use the EasyScopeX app that comes with the Siglent scope CD?

I have the SDS1072CML+ already connected to my desktop win7 via USBTMC.

Attached a screenshot of software and the commands as the poster Miyagi posted above.

Nothing changed on my scope.  :palm:

Wonder what im doing wrong? :-//

It's simple: you are mixing SCPI commands with linux commands!

The only commands that you can send in that interface are SCPI commands like the *IDN?.
