Update:

Yes are sending something for the trouble, already received confirmation on that yesterday and didn't even asked, they offer it, or no strings attached.

Every good story needs the element of redemption.  Hope it is more than a T shirt.
They send some BNC-Caps ;-)

Very good ones

http://www.ebay.com/itm/100pcs-Dust-cap-BNC-Female-jack-Straight-Protective-Dust-cap-connector-adapter-/161565717276?hash=item259e11331c:g:A8AAAOSw9N1VtfKj

somewhat off topic but a follow-up to a few posts back....

From the same seller - for those who need less economies of scale:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/10pcs-Dust-cap-BNC-Female-Straight-Protective-Dust-cap-RF-connector-adapter-/160957072320?hash=item2579ca03c0:g:rAUAAOSwHnFVtfJ9

Why would a dust cap need the center pin?

EDIT: ah.  pasternack.com has 2 kinds, shorting (includes center pin) and non-shorting (no center pin).

Mainly for from spurious noise. It's with a connection only on one end, the other side is just a flat plate used as a shield pretty much.

Did sell before it was pulled. It was the restriction to the account, due to IP claim, as eBay penalize you for thing you were selling a counterfeit, that I was worry about and the fact they did it.

There was a humorous Bob's Uncle quote buried somewhere in the middle.

42 pages of goodness
But to answer your question the thread started getting good at page 1

Totally on the highlight reel......

Hi Bob,

My name's not Bob, he's my uncle.

I think this was just a royal screw-up by us that has taken on a life of its own.

Perhaps, but you haven't answered my question, not that anyone is forcing you to of course.

Does/did Siglent have an active policy of searching for and targeting unauthorised dealers on places like ebay?
If so, what law are you operating under that allows you to do this?

This might be a very big misunderstanding but it has, like it or not, opened up questions as to Siglents intent and policy toward price fixing and market enforcement.

I shall also remind everyone that Siglent were once banned from this forum for having employees creating multiple sock puppet accounts.

We'd better start seeing some used Siglent equipment showing up and staying up on ebay.

Hey Siglent... 28,000 Views in four days (and that's only this forum).  Oops.

If you are going to re-list it on ebay, you need to drop the asking price. Siglent product lost value in the last week or so.

42 pages did have an effect, but there were other forces working.

I would like to take a moment to thank the invisible hands that worked behind the scenes to bring this to a resolution.  They will not likely get the recognition they deserve.

As to cultural differences, I think about practices and attitudes in the US just 50 years ago and how things have changed.

Just nice to know community works.
