HP 3497A cards insertion

Just received recently a new board with DVM option together with some additional cards to plug in...

Before I break anything....are those cards for the slots really hard to insert?
Do I need a hammer to force it? (o;

Got it sorted now (o;

Seems my 3497A never saw a card before...so I first pushed in several types a small prototype board into the slots...
After that insertion of the cards was much easier...still needed force though.....and yes....push in the card first, then the connector block...much easier that way...
