HP Spectrum Analyzer Option 130 Board
« on: September 30, 2015, 04:40:34 pm »
Does anyone have for sale, or know where I might find an HP 08590-60352 option board for my HP 8595E Spectrum Analyzer.
Thanks,
George

I have one burned which I wanted to repair. It would be great if somebody can send me schematics or CLIP for this board. Thanks.

maybe we can join forces to see if we can find any schematic on this PCB. i had a similar issue, the same board with a busted tantalum on it, full on fireworks, and the same error code, CAL: RES BW AMPL FAIL

I'll necro-post this since it's one of few results that shows on search engines for this board. Seeing as no-one has found the CLIP for it yet and there are so few photos of the board floating around on the internet, here is one I took of mine today.

If it doesn't help anyone derive a schematic, maybe it will at least help someone identify component information. If anyone else shows decent progress beating me to deriving a schematic for the thing and needs the shield removed or any internal traces probed (4-layer board :-\) let me know what you'd like probed/photoed and I can take a look.

I pulled the can off after all, since it was only soldered down with four posts. I'm building a BOM and schematic slowly and I'll open a separate topic if I succeed. For now I'll leave these last photos for anyone interested.
