Did you put the unzipped recovery files in the root of the USB stick?

The file I've got was not zipped, it was a xxxx.ADS file and I've put this in the root of the USB stick.

ADS files are firmware files that get upgraded via the system menu in the scope.

If you're using a recovery package that operates during boot, it will not be an ADS file. The version I had was 4 files, none of which were ADS.

That's interesting....

The file provided from Rob was "SDS2000X+_HELP_UPGRADE.ADS", on the other hand he mentioned in his instructions ""..place files..."

So you may be right and he sent the wrong link.

Thank you very much...
