So I guess my question is, at this price point. How does this compare to other scopes in this price range? (+/- a few hundred dollars) I just want to make sure I'm making the best choice of scope to splurge on.

Hello,You could also take a look at the Micsig MHO3-2504. It doesn't have a function generator and isn't an MSO, but it's certainly worth a look.Best regardsegonotto
... Actually I looked at the Pico scopes too and really liked them. I just wanted a more self-contained unit as I have limited space around that area of my bench.

Apparently so - Siglent released new FW for several other series and it seems to have permanently enabled the LA and AWG features on my SDS800X HD. The same verbiage was included for the SDS1000X-E FW, and that also looks to now be permantly enable.Rumor has it that Siglent plans to potentially eliminate licenses for these optional modules and instead increase the pricing for the hw...
