FYI  was able to install lxi-tools v2.7 from brew as in last post on a M2 MacBook Air.  It had a few error messages suggesting updating stuff I already had, including Xcode tools and Python2 which I didn't do as I'm Python3.  With that, I was surprised it seems to work.

I use mostly for TestController.

Can the liblxi be used to develop LXI devices?

I know, that lxi tools was developed as a LXI host, to connect with LXI devices. But I thought, that liblxi contains all the functionality to support both the host side as well as the device side. So, would it be possible to expose ADCs/DACs on a Raspberry Pi (maybe from a HAT) as an LXI instrument, with the liblxi?

That would be very good, to one central LXI host and device code base.

I'm on the same boat, I want to add VXI-11 connectivity to a device that I'm developing. What libraries did you end up using?

Would anyone be able make progress on creating LXI devices?

Yes, I am planning to release both VXI11 and HiSlip server implementations in C as open source.

I haven't had any reports so far - looks like a very new scope.

lxi-tools should work fine with this scope except maybe the automatic screenshot feature which require a little customization for that specific family of scopes.
