Noticed one of these for sale for approx. 200€ locally. Have not seen anything like this before. Anyone know what these are/were for? Is it still relevant today? Or just a historical piece? Did some googling, but only found it mentioned a few times in publication references from 70s, but nothing specific, like experiment setup or the like.
