Rigol MSO2072A Question(s)
« on: March 13, 2015, 08:24:15 pm »
At about 16:10 in this video the scope shows 1ns on what looks like the time base setting toward the top of the scope screen.  It's my understanding that both a DS2072 (regular and A) and a MSO2072A only go to 5ns on the time base.  Just curious what the 1ns readout in the display represents?

Also, anyone know what the resolution is on this user's issue?

(In the Rigol spec sheet it says "Minimum Detectable Pulse Width Digital channel: 5 ns", I think):

Seems to be an original MSO2072A since that's what it says on the front of the unit in the video....

As Luddi said, maybe it's unlocked to be the 300MHz equivalent.  ;)
