RD6006/S06A power supply assembly

I have two questions:

1) Where/How do I mount the temperature sensors?  The one on the fan controller looks like it goes up against the main power supply, but there is no clear thermal connection.  The other one is long enough to reach everywhere in the case.

2) Does anyone have a grounding strategy for the case?  The case of the 60V supply is grounded, so if i sanded the bottom of the case under the mounting screws this probably would ground the case (the screws themselves are grounded).  More sanding for the upper portion of the case too?
