Hello,
I'm sorry if the question has already been covered (probably), but the Search feature didn't provide any answer to me.
I've got a genuine Rigol DS1102D (100MHz + 16 ch LA) and I'm trying to use it with Windows 8, using Ultrascope software.
Unfortunately I'm stuck at the driver install.
I've tried to install the official driver, which is very old (2006), and of course not signed. Obviously, it fails
.
I've tried to
- completely disable Windows 8 driver signature check (advanced restart, Disable Driver Signature Enforcement).
- install driver from Install.exe : it warns me about not signed driver, I tell it it's ok, and the message continuously loops until I close it.
- Install driver from Device manager, it doesn't see the driver
- Install driver manually (right click on Rigolusb.inf, install) : it tells me it's all ok, but in Device manager the device remains uninstalled
.
I've also installed NIVISAruntime.msi and IviSharedComponents64_2.3.0 but it didn't change a thing.
Did somebody found a way to make this damn scope usable in USB with W8 (with official driver / tools, or not !) ?
Thanks !
