Rigol DG800 Combining waveform with arbitrary waveform

Hi,

i just unpacked my Rigol DG812 and had a bit of a play with it.

I can not figure out, how i can set the arbitrary waveform, when combining it with another waveform. It does add the arbitrary waveform, but there is no option to choose.
The manual did not help here.
The firmware is 00.02.06.00.01 which i could not find a newer version of it.

Anyone has used this feature?

As mentioned in the manual:
- Tap the Channel desired in the bottom left of the screen
- Select CombineSet to On
- Choose your waveform to combine with, settings desired, etc.
- This function is only valid for the basic waveforms.

If you want to choose Arb, choose that as the main waveform and then combine it with something else. I don't know if you can do Arb with Arb, I guess if you combine CH1 and CH2 then thats the only option?

You understand this part right? "This function is only valid for the basic waveforms."
If you want Arb then set your channel 1 as the Arb waveform and combine with something else (square, sine, etc.) shown here:


If you want Arb with Arb, then you can try to combine channel 1 and channel 2.

I can combine a sine with arb, no problem. Its just that i cant select the kind of arb. If it is not intented to add arb to a basic waveform, then i consider this a bug that is actually a feature. 

But i figured out a way:
Choose arb as normal waveform of the kind you want. Then choose the waveform you want to add the arb to. Then go to combine and choose arb. Et voila: You successfully combined a waveform with and arb waveform.
