Rigol DG1022 Firmware help please!

I recently updated my firmware on the DG1022 as per instructions in other forum topic, It now reads "00.03.00.08.00.02.10" and my Numerical keypad, left/right buttons and the last two blue soft keys all ask to be unlocked. I also can not access the DG1022 via SPCI or Ultrawave to unlock keys that way.

If someone has the original loader and/or  firmware file or has the correct SCPI command to try in the USB port it would be greatly appreciated.

I have requested firmware from Rigol, but not holding my breath.

I had the same problem and after reading your message, I had the idea to take a look inside the DG10x2Update.GEL file, perhaps I could find something interesting there, and while doing so, I stumbled upon the string "KLOC" rsp. "KLOCK" - mmhh, I thought, could mean KEY LOCK - and as this string was in the neighborhood of a few other SCPI commands, I just assumed it also being a SCPI command.

So I fired up the UltraSigma Software, right-clicked my device and selected the "SCPI panel control". Entering "SYST:KLOC?" gave me a "0000000000000000111111111111111100000". Ahh, this looks promising! There are 16 bits being at 1 - exactly the number of keys that are locked
So I quickly entered "SYST:KLOC 0" and a "SYST_KLOC?" again, and BINGO - all zeroes now!

Power-cycling the DG1022 and while keeping my fingers crossed, I pressed the '7' key (which was one of the keys that didn't work before), and YEAH  that was it!
After doing a pro-forma Utility -> System -> Setting -> Default, I now have an operational DG1022. Easy as 123 - if you know what to do

OH, btw. my version now reads as 03.03.00.08.00.03.00. Does anybody know, what the first 03 means?
AFAIK the first two numbers are the bootloader 03.03 (which everywhere I read, is 00.0x !), the next 2 numbers are the DSP version 00.08 and the rest is the firmware version (0.3.0)

FYI, I was unable to connect to my DG1022 using Ultra Sigma to send the SCPI commands. After hours of trial and error I was able to access the DG1022 by using Ni Max Version 5.5.0f0. Under "Devices and Interfaces" I selected the DG1000 Series usb connection. I then selected "Open VISA Test Panel" then under "Input/Output" panel "Basic I/O" under "Select or Enter Command" I cleared the data in the window and typed in: "SYST:KLOC 0" and selected "Write" then "SYST_KLOC?" "Read" it confirmed that now all "zeros" keys are now unlocked.

Hope this helps those who couldn't clear the locked keys after firmware update
