Did you have the Quick Cal feature OFF or ON ?

Here's the latest FW version should you need to get it up to date:

No idea about that feature at all, can't find any such option.
What does it do?

TBH I don't remember if SDS5000X has Quick Cal or it came later.
Replaced mine with SDS6204A.

As it implies, a quick cal while the scope warms to normal operating temp.
Generally ~2s pause while the cal is done/checked.

Is that just offset, or is it vertical gain as well?
How many scopes cal for vertical gain anyway?

It seems some Siglent scopes FW update will wipe out old self-cal data, you can see the base line drift a lot from 0V after update.
The factory calibration data is not affected by FW update, no worries after self-cal.
I sometimes see a popup menu advice me to do a self-cal after update has completed, but most time not. Just hope they give enough information in the FW release notes. :palm:

Should be offset only and not all scopes have the option.
Some LeCroy scopes seems cal for gain on the go as well, it takes much longer time to wait the scope cal itself after temperature or scale change.
