Removing front panel buttons on a Keithley 192
« on: September 11, 2013, 06:33:53 am »
Hi, has anyone removed the front panel display board on a Keithley 192?

I have a switch that I suspect is bad, but I an not sure how the buttons come off so I can remove the board. I have tried just pulling them off and they don't seem to move, I am a little worried about breaking them, so I figured I would ask.

Thanks!

They pull off. The brown piece clips over the plunger. I believe there exists a little tool. Take a good look betwen the bronw piece and the fromtpanel. You should see the white opening. A small flat blade screwdriver i. The slit should do it.

Thanks for the tip! Turns out some clown glued a few of them on, but I was able to get it apart.
