HP 16532A scope plugin for LA

Seem to have acquired some old HP logic analysers. Not going to use them as analysers but one mainframe had a 16532A DSO plugin card.

Seems to be much faster than any other DSO I have, the question is, is it usable outside of the LA mainframe? The mainframe is huge, don't want to use it inside. Is it the same acquisition card as used in any of the dedicated DSO's?

Not as far as I know. Some of the chips are common across the DSO and la systems but all of the control and processing is done in the mainframe. You can try to hack something if you want to decipher the control signals but there's not much data on these later products

The mainframe is very heavy but the cards aren't too bad, unless international.

No idea if they work! Didn't bother to try the analysers.

Just looked, got the following cards:

68000 CPU
16510B
16515A
16520A
16550A
16532A

The test leads are pretty poor condition, might not be worth the cost of shipping.

Im in Switzerland, anything newer than the 16500A sometimes sells for good money over here.
