Speaking for myself, my comment was just a joke about obsessing over a AA battery measuring 1.456V vs 1.455V. Ie., that I sometimes obsess over absurd things.

We know :-)

 :phew:  The thread turned to temperature and skin conductivity affecting the 5th or 6th  least significant digit of AA voltage right after...

I draw the line at 1.450 myself

You'd be better off bouncing them...

A 3.5 digit 4.5 digit 5 digit 5.5 digit 6.5 digit 7.5 digit DMM is good enough for most people.

Only if you use a ruler with "accuracy: 0.02%" stamped on it to measure the bounce height.
