There is a whole list of the bugs and missing features in the V1 firmware in another SDS2000 review thread. I don't think it is necessary to repeat all those (IIRC about 20 items in that list).

@Wuerstchenhund: XY mode works! If someone can turn an SDS2000 into a clock it would be neat.
There are small lies, big lies and then there is what is on the screen of your oscilloscope.

Hello everyone,

We are sorry that we didn’t offer enough message for the new firmware version :1.01.01.37.9, this is not a updated version for BETA (V2), but a upgrade version for V1 version.
( The beta (V2) version’s number is :1.02.01.19. )

The new version 1.01.01.37.9 is ONLY for V1 firmware. It resolves the bugs of P37.2:
1, Correcting Translator error: “DC?AC coupling” is swap in other language(Expect English ,Chinese);
2, Computer can’t connect the SDS2000, when use Easywave ;
3, In ‘XY’ mode, can’t switch Waveform inverted;
4, In External trigger, the instrument crashed when setting the trigger level.

Besides, the Official version for V2 firmware will release at the end of November.

Thank you for supporting Siglent.
Best regards.

Well, it's not that people have asked you many times in the past already to publish change logs  |O

You mean like the V2 supporting MSO and CAN that was promised for October?  :-DD

Anyone want to take bets?  :popcorn:

Are today's GW Instek oscilloscopes better in terms of software bugs?
Amazing machines. https://www.youtube.com/user/denha (It is not me...)

I don't know, but the real question is if they can be much worse than the SDS2000.
