Voltcraft VC165 AC bug
« on: March 05, 2019, 10:48:14 pm »
I once had a Voltcraft VC-165 Multimeter that had a wierd bug. When I was in the AC range and measured a 12 Volt DC powersupply I read 24VAC. Shouldn't the meter read 0VAC. But anyways they gave me then a better multimeter that hasn't that bug. Has also saw this bug on a multimeter.

What is you measure AC on a battery?
It could be that this meter does not have capacitive coupling for AC measurement.
