One of the reasons for the ubiquity of USB power/charging is precisely so that every device doesn't have to include its own charger. Even cellphones are no longer including chargers. I buy a LOT of USB powered devices and it's much less common these days for them to supply a charger in the box. You usually only get a cable, if that, and even then it's often the cheapest crap cable they can provide. The vast majority of USB power supplies and chargers that do still come with devices get tossed in a junk bin for when one of the grandkids loses or forgets their phone charger. Otherwise I have built-in and multi-port USB chargers all over the house to handle any USB power/charging needs.

Different ideas, different needs of each person. It's better if I have it than not have it. At least keep it just in case. Personally, I use a lot. It will be used with a telephone.

Not to mention that the more such chargers you use at the same time, the louder the noise will be. It already gave me a headache during measurements.

If you only use one or two, what's the point of the rest, they just take up space.
I don't throw it away because it can still be good for something, and environmental awareness and the like...
I don't charge my HDS scopes with the factory one either.
I always remove the battery and use the charger I bought for this purpose.


Returning to the HDS300 series. It's been up on their own site for months, and as Aldo22 wrote, it's been a topic since 2022, they haven't published it in 2 years, I can only think that they're refining the 300 by learning from the 200 series, and then at some point released after most of the bugs have been fixed. Or they were just intended for their own domestic market.
You can buy it from a US seller at a very expensive price on ebay and I saw it on Aliexpress too, although his ad didn't have a long life.

If I saw correctly, the TAO3000 series has not yet received an update, and neither has the HDS2202.
Owon has not yet responded to my question about the HDS300.
