Nice oscilloscope. You're right, This price should have this mode. However, it seems that I need to look carefully to find it on the low-end oscilloscope.
Example Siglent: All SPO (aka DPO) models have it, including also handheld models
(only exceptions are very old design DSO models (SDS1000DL, CML series) All models what have X after 3 or 4 digit model number have it and of course models where is A after model number. (also obsolete models SDS1000X, X+ and SDS2000)
These have also
two kind of "segmented memory" acquisition (as is also in this Yokogava). Always background working history buffer mode (it save segments just with displayed wfm/s speed) and then fast sequence mode.
Also saved segments have full sampledata and can afterwards serial decode, do FFT and other math, use automatic measurements with full time resolution (not use decimated intermediate buffer for measurements) including also gated measurements and cursor measurement functions etc. Also segments are always time stamped based to trig. Segments naturally contain all active channels simultaneously.
Siglent current models under SDS2000X Plus
SDS1202X-E (2 channel, 200MHz, 1 ADC, 1GSa/s, 14M, up to 400k segment/s) in Europe 339,- (VAT0)
SDS1104X-U (4 channel, 100MHz (1ADC 14M, up to 400k segment/s, no options, some other features reduced from SDS1104X-E)) in Europe 359,- (VAT0)
SDS1104X-E (4 channel, 100MHz. 2x 1GSa/s ADC, 2x14M, up to 400k segment/s) in Europe 429,- (VAT0)
SDS1204X-E (4 channel, 200MHz. 2x 1GSa/s ADC, 2x14M, up to 400k segment/s) in Europe 659,- (VAT0)
SDS2202X-E (2 channel, 200MHz, 1 ADC, 2GSa/s, 28M, up to 400k segment/s)
SDS2352X-E (2 channel, 350MHz, 1 ADC, 2GSa/s, 28M, up to 400k segment/s)
Handhelds (totally very different if compare old obsolete models without X)
SSH800X models (2 channel, 100 or 200MHz, 1 ADC, 1GSa/s, 12M, up to 400k segment/s)
SSH1000X models (2 fully isolated channel, 100 or 200MHz, 1 ADC, 1GSa/s, 12M, up to 400k segment/s)
then come SDS2000X Plus, up to 500k segment/s and of course higher models up to 500 - 750k segment/s.
