Tektronix !A! and 2465A

I have an old Tektronix 1A1 and a newer 2465A.  On either one I would like to change the outputs, from Ch.1 output on the 1A1 or the ch.2 output on the 2465A, to a vertical output.  The 1A1 has all the functions on the mode switch but I can't tell from the schematic if the "Add" is done in the 1A1 or only in a scope it plugs into.  I want to use my 133 power unit for the 1A1 and not buy an old 500 series scope.  The 2465A does have all the functions somewhere so it should be possible to move a wire from the ch.2 to the vertical output.  Any thoughts on this?
