Amazon is selling Hakko 191212 Replacement Tip Temperature Sensor which are Shipped and Sold by Amazon.com (and not a 3rd party).

I've purchased them and they came inside a plastic bag instead of the Hakko blister-pack:

I have read that the river is selling fakes/knockoffs/clones of many different products. True? Who knows, but it wouldn't surprise me. Not an organization that I consider trustworthy...just my 2ยข
You can also buy the fake temp sensors packaged in the blister pack, so no guarantee there either. I only buy Hakko parts & supplies (including the 191-212) from an authorized Hakko distributor. You can find them on the Hakko website.
