I downloaded the firmware update and pulled it apart:
$binwalk N89XX-A_00_06.upd
DECIMAL HEXADECIMAL DESCRIPTION
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8 0x8 XML document, version: "1.0"
1321 0x529 gzip compressed data, fastest compression, from FAT filesystem (MS-DOS, OS/2, NT), NULL date: Thu Jan 1 01:00:00 1970
17138939 0x10584FB Zlib compressed data, compressed, uncompressed size >= 95509
The gzip one looks interesting, extract this one:
$dd if=N89XX-A_00_06.upd bs=1 skip=1321 of=asdf.gz
$file asdf
asdf: Windows Embedded CE binary image
Umm, Windows CE, very likely to be Agi^h^hKeysight, let's confirm that:
strings asdf | grep Agile
AgilentLan488Server32.dll
AgilentPalCaps.dll
AgilentPalIO.dll
AgilentPalSStorage.dll
AgilentLxiUnmanaged.dll
AgilentSStorageUnmanaged.dll
AgilentSysMngmntUnmanaged.dll
...
So this one is absolutely original Keysight.
