It certainly looks good.
I'm curious about the first tests, whether it works as well as it seems in the video.

EDIT: Here is one:

EDIT: Another one (RU):

A PCB screendump from the youtube video:
- Allwinner F1C100s SoC
- Anlogic EF2L45LG144B FPGA
- two unidentified AD(?) converters
IIRC, quite similar to the 1013d and 1014d.
Wonder if the real bandwidth is ~30MHz like the others, or if they have
done some new developments? At least they don't claim it's 1GSps.

First impressions which do not come from the advertising department can be seen here.

Is the "digital phosphor" a marketing gimmick?

You can see different trace intensities.
Looks pretty good anyway

Thanks. Could you verify if it is really a 180MHz?

No, I just found the pictures on the web.
I think you ordered one?

The photos show a disagreement in the voltage measurements.  A couple of them are by a factor of 10 so could be accounted for by the FNIRSI being mis-configured for 10x probes.

But the 50Mhz signal shows 20Vpp while the signal generator says it’s outputting 1.6V (unless I’m misunderstanding).  That can’t be accounted for by a mistaken 10x config?

Is the FNIRSI already down 40% at 50Mhz?

(edit: fix some phone auto-correct typos - I should never post from a phone...)

Yes, i think it is set to x10 and should be x1, but I assume it is the same setting for all 3 images.
FNIRSI always shows 20.x VPP and RIGOL shows 2.2x VPP.
It does not show exactly the same as the RIGOL, but amplitude-wise there ist nothing special at 50MHz imo.
I don't know why the signal generator shows 1.6 VPP and how that is plugged together.

If signal generator shows 1.6V RMS that is 2.256 V P-P for sinewave. In which case Rigol is doing excellent job.

$140 converts to $A211, which is starting to stretch the budget a bit for something from FNIRSI.
The Ali express link is a tad higher at $A219.82, followed by a note that it was 40% off from $A 366.36. ::)

This is normal on Ali.
Everything is at least 40% "cheaper" than the fantasy price, which no one ever pays.

On Banggood it is a little different.

I believe the JDS6600 signal generator only shows Vpp (I don't have one so I'm not certain, but the reviews I have seen only ever talk about setting it to Vpp).

The scope has arrived early!.
I like the UI, the buttons are a bit stiff, but that will improve over time (I hope).

And the first signal I inputted shows a problem:
Input 80MHz sine at 2Vpp gives 80MHz, 608mVpp on the Fnirsi.
Also discovered a bug: I set cursors at -2V and 2V, but the location values shown in the window are 808mV and 4.04V.
See full resolution at https://drive.google.com/file/d/14e3F9jxrBu7EsTDNAcI0UgPWvEX24nBy/view?usp=share_link .

Mailed Fnirsi and asked for a firmware update regarding the cursors.

It's a FNIRSI.  They outright lie about their specifications.  If they say it's 180MHz, expect about 60MHz at which point it will begin to loose it's tiny mind.

For the bandwidth I already had low hopes, but the cursor bug shouldn't be there.

Are you sure you measured it correctly and in the same way as the Rigol (dummy load, etc.)?
I can hardly imagine it being that bad.
Where would the -3dB limit be?

The photo I linked to shows the test settings. There is a 50ohm termination and rigol and fnirsi get the same signal via a T-bnc.

Hi RAPo

And what is the bandwidth according to your measurement?
Just the point where Pk-Pk falls below -3 dB (0.707) compared to, say, 100kHz?

The promo video looks promising, and even at just 60MHz would be decent in this form factor.   :-//
What's the lowest price here in late May 2023.?
Are there any coupons that can get it lower than 135.99 USD.??
Coupons from China, Banggood  https://rb.gy/xpoit
Likely so new that all stock, is still abroad in far-east
