Getting back OT,
The question is; Is the $1800 (w TG), $1250 (w/o TG) price difference between a 1030A and a 832 worth it??
From what I read on their spec sheets, the main differences other than price with the 832 over the 1030A are;
10 db improvement in phase noise,
DANL holds up to 3GHZ on the 832 where it drops 12db above 2.5GHz on the 1030A
Max reference level is 10db less,
RBW is 10Hz as opposed to 100Hz,
SHI is 10db greater (5db greater than the 815),
TOI is 4db greater,
2 lbs less,
1.5" x 1.8" x 1.2" smaller,
No battery option
