Is 70€ a good price for Tektronix 2201?

Does it work? Is it in good condition? Does it have probes/accessories/manuals? Do all the controls work?

Does it do what you need? Is 20MHz bandwidth enough? (unlikely)

$70 is a high price for anything if it doesn't do the job.

If availability of similar instruments is limited in Slovenia, then I would say it is a reasonable price (70€ is about $78 US) assuming it works and is in good shape.  Can you inspect it before buying or will it be shipped to you?  The 20 MHz bandwidth will be limiting for many applications.

Prices here are ridiculous.
It'll be shipped from abroad but pictures do show a square signal. Probes are included and it's calibrated.
20MHz will be enough for my project.

That is what I thought; I know from reports that availability of used test equipment or at least old Tektronix oscilloscopes is much poorer outside of the US.  If you have something shipped in, then you risk shipping damage if the seller does not pack it correctly.

We do not see much about the 2201 or even the 2225 series which it is part of over on TekScopes@yahoogroups.com but I do not know of any common problems with them; their design is a major refinement of the older and faster 2235 series and easy to repair and maintain.  The 20 MHz 2201 and 2205 lack the x10 vertical magnification for 500uV/div sensitivity which make the faster 50 MHz 2210, 2211, and 2225 unique in their class but if that is not a requirement then so what?  20 MHz and 5mV/div is completely suitable for most applications.

Since the service and operating manual is available inexpensively, that is not an objection either.
