That's strange.  Maybe some permission based on location?  I can still open it (from the US).  Attaching pic of what I see.

Where did you get the 20Mpts number from?
There are small lies, big lies and then there is what is on the screen of your oscilloscope.

I'd have to double check, but I think the dead fish and parasites are only available with an annual license upgrade.

Let's wait for the datasheet before jumping to conclusions & speculations.

I have to tell you honestly, I consider the majority of users of this forum to be hobbyists with a corresponding budget for measuring equipment.
People like me who are prepared to spend around 4000...5000 on a device are probably in the absolute minority.
If a new release is reported here that is around 20000, then that is more of a nice to know but nothing that could get the community here in any way excited.
And if this announcement on the part of Keysight is like the R&S MXO once was, about subscribing for the latest news, and all you get is advertising spam, then the thing is completely dead for me.
If brands like Keysight, R&S and Tektronix can offer me something new that is in the price range of an upmarket siglent model and is just as good or even better equipped, then I will wake up again.
At the moment, I have the feeling that the “big ones” are leaving the mid-range market, which is not uninteresting for commercial customers, to the “Chinese”, so I'm addressing the “big ones”:
Wake me up when you have something for me too.

I'm more interested if it's a trend setter or a follower.
I think we can agree that the MSOX3000 series was a trend setter with it's compact form factor, and integrated LA, AWG, probe interface, modern ports and fast UI in the mid-low end models.
I wonder if we get something new and unexpected or just a smartphone upgrade (more memory more bits more screen).

If a new release is reported here that is around 20000

The $20,000 is for one specific configuration. If you Google the model numbers, you can find other prices. (Most of the results have been removed from their respective websites, but you can still access them via Google's cache.)

I haven't seen any pricing I'd necessarily call "affordable" in the hobbyist sense, but I've seen pricing for some configurations that are significantly less than $20,000. Certainly in the range of affordability for a small business (or even an individual freelancer) doing this for a living. (Even more so if they have an old scope to sell to help offset the cost!)

My fully-optioned MSOX3024A has served me well for 11 years. I'm ready for an upgrade and am excited to see what this turns out to be.

We'll be excited in a decade or so. Unfortunately some of us will be dead (or the equivalent) by then.

Just as importantly, will amateurs get any service from Keysight? Or will Keysight be "corporate customers only"?

Hello,

I don't understand the secrecy. Why doesn't Keysight release the data? If the data are good, it's useful to give it out as early as possible. And if it's not so good, it will only cause disappointment. I find this approach unsympathetic and bad for Keysight.

Best regards

If you buy from TEquipment or Farnell as an individual, you will ask for support on them, and they will ask for support for your need from Keysight.
At least that's how things should go.

Yes, that's the benefit of buying from a local dealer.

I've only seen the online prices, but it's obvious that it's priced according to rivals like the R&S MX04. So expect probably little difference in price to that for similar bandwidth/features.

I have to tell you honestly, I consider the majority of users of this forum to be hobbyists with a corresponding budget for measuring equipment.

If the audience on the forum is like my Youtube channel, then the majority are actually industry professionals. Next highest group is engineering student who will be professionals in a few years, and the smallest category are hobbyists with no presence in the industry.
Of course, if you are on a forum like this then you are also a hobbyist.

I can confirm that is not true. At least on the banner spec level. So it's either a mistake, or it's some lower priced option.

Look at that subtle off-black coloring. The tasteful thickness of the molded plastic. Oh my god, it even has a power button.

Power button confirmed.
