I don't think it is a clever move by Agilent.
My employer forbids employees to use the name of the company for anything outside of work. Sweepstakes are even mentioned explicitly as an example in the rules. It has something to do with not being an official representative of the company, stock laws, corporate identity, avoiding corruption (not getting a personal advantage, favor, goods by using the company name), and whatnot.
