Not sure if this goes here, but strictly speaking it is about test gear.Hi! Getting into high vacuum stuff, and i've got a cheap offer for a 80's (i think?) Leybold-Heraeus Thermovac TM202 - without the gauge head.
Now, it has a non-standard tube socket as probe connector with two fat and 4 slim pins, and the probes look a bit non-standard:

those thermocouple gauges are pretty simple to drive, but considering how bulbous the detector is, I fear most of the magic might be in there. Is the TM202 then worth picking up, to see if I can modify it for std. thermocouple gauges? Does anyone KNOW this piece of gear?
Thanks in advance!
