Keysight New Style DAQ970A. Next DMM4xxA?

Quote from https://docs-emea.rs-online.com/webdocs/1680/0900766b816802f3.pdf:

"DAQ970A: Basic data acquisition, static measurements, replaces the existing 34970A/72A with several improvements"

The instrument has ACAL and is probably based on the measurement innards of 34465A.

Quote from https://www.keysight.com/main/editorial.jspx?cc=TH&lc=eng&ckey=2693281&id=2693281&cmpid=zzfindnewlook

"The instruments and components in the new design are charcoal gray and other gray tones, accented with Keysight's signature red, white, and black."

It looks nice ... but it seems the multiplexer cards from the older 34972A will not be compatible, too bad.
And since it is listing the Keithley DAQ6510 as a competitive product, it will probably be a 6 1/2 digit system.
I was looking forward to a stable 7 1/2 digit DAQ system from Keysight.
But, who knows, may be that will be next.

I wonder what OS this runs. Perhaps it is the first in what we believe the new series of equipment will be that does not run WinCE.

Pretty excited to see this as I've been waiting for a more modern bench top DAQ from Keysight.  They have some Youtube videos on their channel about it.  I wish the trend chart would display more than one channel at a time.  I'd love to be able to monitor all of my signals graphically at the same time, but not sure I want to rely on BenchVue for that...
