Got all the info from their Chinese website: https://www.micsig.com.cn/OIP/ , not seen any from English site. Pre-sale started last week inside China, guess they are just not ready for overseas yet (asked when, says need to wait couple months~~)

The high frequency current probe is now live on the English MicSig site: https://www.micsig.com/CP1003/

I haven't found them listed at any of my normal retailers, though.

I´m very curious about the prices... :D

You can get a rough estimate on Micsig's MSRP prices in China, and the western-prices will likely not be that far from that.. perhaps with some added VAT.
Micsig's own T-Mall store for CN customers..
--

CP1003/B - A tad under 2.500USD (18K CNY)
OIP350 - Around 4150 USD.  (30K CNY)

Dated Micsig pricing, "demand & supply" early days limited stock, reason for our elevated MSRP on our official store.

Micsigs own JD & Taoboa/Tmall sources, that Micsig-China links, as their two main sources to buy for consumers in China

The 50A probe which I´m interested in will cost appx 2000€... :--
To be fair, when their probes are quite as good as the pendants from hioki, they will be ultra-cheap, no question.
But it´s too much for me.. 8)
So I must continue fixing one tek probe out of three... ;D

According to their previous pricing policy in overseas markets, the new 50A probe should not be so expensive, my guess would be 1500$, tops.

Today I received via email a nice PDF flyer direct from Micsig for the CP500/1000 series current probes, suggesting they are finally bringing these to the US market. No US pricing info, and they direct you to "please contact your local distributor to get the special offer for NEW Micsig High Frequency AC/DC current probe!" Sadly they don't list who their US distributors are but I presume that will be forthcoming.

I'm thrilled they're releasing these as the available choices for high bandwidth clamp current probes has always been very limited. Of course, so is the total market for them.

I'm not too happy with their minimum measurable current, though. The 6A version lists 20mA as the bottom end. It's not unusual at all to want to view current behavior below double digit milliamps.

I don't think the market is that small. They're very useful for a lot of power electronics work. It's just that the market had been dominated by (from highest to lowest performance) Tektronix, Hioki and LEM and their various rebrands (Lecroy, Keysight) so far, and people have been forced to pay their prices. If this is an original design, and not another probe made by Hioki, then I'm curious about the performance.

No, indeed, since you can fly to the moon and beyond on 20 mA these days. This suggests that the gain of the Hall-effect sensor is lower than Tek and Hioki: less sophisticated sensor or attachment to the ferrite core. You can increase the sensitivity by wrapping multiple turns of the wire around the probe, but that increases insertion impedance.

I can sell the 50MHz CP502B version for under US$500

Micsig has put the OIP series of optical isolation differential probes on the global/English web site right under the products menu.

   https://www.micsig.com/OIP/

Lists specs on the page but no download link for a spec sheet.  Unfortunately, I also could not find anyone advertising it for sale yet.

And they posted a comparison article against Tek's TIVP1 probe,   in Chinese (bear with it ): https://mp.weixin.qq.com/s/IQk-UarNrxcv1pZRlUz06w

Amazon US site has the new MicSig high bandwidth current probes and the Optical Isolation Probes lowest two bandwidth models listed.  Prices for the current probes are competitive but higher than folks were hoping.  The Optical probes are lower than prices in other countries converted to US $.  Very competitive I would say.

Current Probes:
CP503B   30 Arms   50 MHz   BNC    $1039
CP100B   30 Arms  100 MHz  BNC    $1339

Optical Probes:
MOIP01P    100 MHz           $1560
MOIP02P    200 MHz           $1960
Higher BW models not listed.

Question:  Does anyone know what probe tips comes in the case with the optical probes?  Specifically which/how many different attenuation probe tips come with the probe?  On Amazon the picture shows a case with foam cut out spots for 4 probe tips but only 2 probe tips are in the case.

I thought the optical probe pricing looked too good and with 20 in inventory to ship at that.

Now US Amazon says:

Optical Probes:
MOIP01P    100 MHz           $3088.99
MOIP02P    200 MHz           $4633.99

or 2.2x higher pricing than yesterday and the Buy button now says Pre order with delivery May 24 to June 14.

Will be interesting to see if they ever deliver my order for MOIP02P for $1960.  I am not hopeful.

Edited 6/18/23:  As expected they canceled the MOIP02P at $1960 as a pricing mistake.
At this point the "official" list prices at Saelig in the US have stabilized at

Optical Probes:[/b]
MOIP01P    100 MHz           $2399
MOIP02P    200 MHz           $3699
MOIP10P     1 GHz           $22,299

Although eye watering prices for a probe....the Tek IsoVue optical probes list prices are $11,100 for 200 MHz and $29,800 for 1 GHz.

Also, Micsig has clarified that each probe comes with just one attenuator probe tip.  On Saelig additional probe attenuator tips are $438 or $498 depending on attenuation amount.

Absolute steals compared to IsoVue or other probes: https://www.batterfly.com/shop/en/saker-xfvp-l10-2

Optically isolated probes are just insanely expensive no matter what you do. Maybe Cleverscope is a better deal at 4x channels but it's just an expensive thing to need high CMRR and high isolation and high bandwidth: https://cleverscope.com/files/CS1233%20Power%20Probe%20Presentation.pdf
