Feeltech FY6800 with battery and more
« on: September 20, 2018, 05:34:26 pm »
Anyone with FY6800, FY6600 or similar, and patch/try to run those from battery?
Removing the AC/DC power supply clean a lot of space and it will be great if
this thingy can run on a battery. Don't know what Cyclone FPGA and output
20V will need, though. Will measure on power connector tomorrow.

Just received mine from ebay - dead on arrival, open the cover... someone forgot to
plug power supply connector on... now it is fine.

Last question - have someone try how external VCO, is it working?
Want to modulate few Hz square signals with 50/100Hz or so,
for driving some LCD shutter cells.

Thanks in advance!

I do not own one of them yet but, I believe the need 3 rails: +5, +12 and -12V. All can be made with off the shelf bricks or, you can design your own board with charger and etc...
