Recently I reinstalled the software (XStream) and drivers on WavePro 7200A, all works fine.
But I was curious how the integrated (thermal) printer works.

At the first glance, the installer added Amyuni Document Converter 400 printer (under the name "LeCroy document Converter")  but the attempt to print test page pops the message: Activation Error: Printer not activated, error code -30.
I am not sure what it is, and also how to install the integrated printer's driver? What is the model?
The printer is connected to LeCroy's PCI controller, so it is not clear if there is a hidden printer port?
Thanks!

Alternative Solutions: If you're unable to get the integrated printer working, consider using an external thermal printer. Zebra and TSC offer reliable thermal printers that could serve as excellent alternatives. They are compatible with a wide range of software and hardware setups. Sunavin offers various models of Zebra and TSC printers, which you can explore at     .

Alternative solutions? Spam?
How rude of dmderev to promote his own company when he wants a solution.
Can you replace it without modification? Are you making the exact same thing? If you are selling a "receipt printer", you are misguided.

Perhaps "activation" means "initialization". I think, lecroy's printer even if recognized as a common printer, cannot print with generic software because of non-standard initialization and other commands. Perhaps it will only work with the lecroy software on the 7200A.

The printer is probably modular and connected via USB.
It is possible to disassemble the printer module and find the solution from the chip inside, or from the USB VID/PID. Maybe it will work if you change the driver?

I don't currently have a WP 7k series, but I've worked with and in several including some with and without printers.  I seem to remember swapping a printer into one from another unit with no ill effects on either - I think if the power and data cables to the printer are connected and the drivers are correctly installed, there should be no option key or anything to enable it, it just shows up in the utilities section of XStream.

As there are some oddities to installing XStream, are you running version 8.1.4 or whatever is the most recent one that runs in XP?  Did you upgrade from 6.x?  Was it a clean install?  There is an additional driver package needed for an install of XStream 8.X on XP because the newer version doesn't contain all the Aladdin board drivers - it was available for download separately from LeCroy last time I looked.  I remember having issues with the front panel lights and things without it, maybe that's something to look into.  Could also be worth making sure all the motherboard drivers are appropriately installed if it was a clean OS install.

While again it's been a bit and I don't have one in front of me, I believe the printer shows up as a "LeCroy Printer" in the device manager - at least Amyuni doesn't ring any bells for me.
