I bought one of these LCR meters off ebay, from china, but it came without a manual. The specs of many ebay vendors invariably say "see the user manual".
At power up the LCD says:
Copyright 2015, All rights reserved, LQ, Co., Std.
I tried emailing the seller and sales@lq-china.com but had no response, and they do not list it on their website as a product.
It comes with 4 buttons on the front.
- changes frequency 0, 100, 120, 1000, 10000Hz
- no idea
- changes RMS voltage of test signal from 0.1, 0.3, 0.6V
- changes between 4 display modes
I was wondering if maybe the second button was some kind of test lead compensation/calibration/zero function, but it doesn't seem to change much at all.
In one mode it displays resistance and phase angle. Having never used one before, is the resistance likely to be just the real part of the complex impedance, or would it be the magnitude, sqrt(Re^2+Im^2)?
Thanks
