Just an FYI to all.

The DMM connectivity utility will work fine with the 3446xA models.  On your DMM, go into user settings and tell the DMM to ID itself as a 34411A.

AFAIK, this is the only free utility which supports Digitizing in addition to logging.

In the current, pay-for BenchVue, the Digitize function has advanced to where it will show a graphic display as it acquires data.  Very powerful tool for low power uC/radio work.

This function makes it worth actual $$ for the license, although after buying one perpetual at work, getting another for free at work with new 34465A purchase, buying my own for home use has turned into a PITA.  Typical distributors are only selling 2 or 3 versions of the license, which comes in 157 flavors.

That's useful info, thanks.

I'm slightly pissed that, after spending over $1,000 on a 34461A a few years back, and, having just paid for a calibration; I am not entitled to a free copy of Benchvue as a new purchaser would be today.   >:(

More than slightly pissed here.  DMM and scopes do not qualify for offers outside of your year of purchase (if then).  Same as your #$@% cable TV providers and new customers.

As you're aware (Gandalf_Sr), I could have had the apps bundle for $2k a few months ago when I bought my MSOX4154A but pushing the family budget to the limit, I had to pass.  Now, it's $4800, period (with possibly a small discount).

Hopefully this will allow Keysight to be around for a long time but I think you will last longer if you treat your customers well.  I've purchase a lot of HP/Agilent/Keysight over the years for business use.

I'm sure that you could hack the options for your MSOX4154A if you wanted to; I was lucky and got my MSOX4054A with the full app bundle buying 'used' on the Keysight eBay store, I even got a fresh calibration :D

Happy New Year to you all.

Thanks to all who made this software available! The link still works!

I got an old HP 54401A (in near mint condition) some time ago. I was searching for weeks for a solution to
track the measurements of my DMM for longer time periods. I used Agilent IO suite 2019 which you have to download and
install before installation of DMM connectivity.

One question: Does someone knows if there is another software for tracking measurements from a HP counter 53131a??
Best case together with the tracking of a HP 54401a??

There logging software made by someone on this forum which comes with many instrument definitions and allow for adding new instruments. Note it's not just multimeters!
