Probe compensation 1:1, 10:1
« on: November 22, 2020, 12:51:09 pm »
General question about probe compensation.
I have switchable probes 1:1, 10:1.
If I perform the compensation for 1:1, it is no longer correct for 10:1 and vice versa.
How do I proceed now ?
Do I have to compensate again and again when switching the divider ratio ?

br,
Frank

Probe compensation is for 10:1 only, it shouldn't have any effect in 1:1 mode.

That is right.  1:1 probes require no compensation so the compensation in 10:1 mode has no effect on 1:1 mode.
