Just a question towards Rigol DS1054Z and Rigol DSA815-TG users:
Where did you guys/girls
learn how to use the advanced features in your Oscilloscope or your Spectrum Analyzer?
Did you just learn by doing and hands on experiments?
Or did you read the manual in details? Many engineers AFAIK don't read user manuals
I had courses about Fourier and Signal Processing, but never really learned on how to use all the advanced features of an Oscilloscope and a Spectrum Analyzer.
Do they have affordable trainings on this topic?
Maybe an idea for Rigol, to setup a European training program on test equipment, such as basic Oscilloscope principles, basic Spectrum Analyzer principles, advanced Oscilloscope features, advanced Spectrum Analyzer features, etc.
The training participants could use actual Rigol test equipment during the training, and Rigol could offer a discount to the training participants when buying Rigol test equipment after the training.
People would have access to an affordable training in which they can learn the basic principles and the more advanced features, and at the same time they can learn on using actual Rigol test gear, while Rigol can indirectly market their product portfolio. Win win for everybody.
