So I (clearly ill-advisedly) attempted a calibration of my Fluke 45 which was working perfectly. I exited calibration mode by pressing the calibration button on realizing it needed precision voltages that I didn't have. Now, on power on, it gives me an Error 7 which the service manual says is,"EEPROM calibration data corrupted".

I thought this was odd because the service manual says you can exit calibration mode without any side effects, i.e., "If calibration of any function is discontinued prior to completion, no changes are made to nonvolatile calibration memory for that function."

Any ideas apart from getting the unit professionally re-calibrated? I don't have all the equipment to calibrate it myself.

Thanks,

Sanjay
