How to repair the HP 35670A faulty mains push button?
« on: July 13, 2023, 04:50:46 pm »
I have an HP 35670A Dynamic Signal Analyzer with a faulty mains push button.
The fault is that a plastic part, between the push button on the front and the rod that connects to the actual switch, has rotten. See attached pictures.
It is placed in the Power Supply and the rod and main switch works really well.
There are no markings on the parts. I have been in contact with C&K (who manufacture and sell the switch today) but they don't know where this rod and attached parts come from.

Are there anybody at this forum who know where this rod/wire comes from and where to get a new?
Or are the anybody who have had a similar problem and solved it in a clever way?

Cheers,
/Sören
