Why it so deep? Is it to provide compatibility by dimensions with analog scopes?
Cute. If it was 50$ with free shipping I'd get one just for giggles. It's adorable.
If they made it 100MHz/1GHz, like the old Tek TDS200 series, and it was that current US$150 price, there might be a niche market for such a slim benchtop single channel scope.

If it were a TDS200 class unit even if only 50 megs I’d have bought it. But it’s not. It’s poo. I really like the form factor. It’s like the old Japanese scopes.
I don't think this has anything to do with that crappy oscilloscope and the "thinking" behind it ...
