Yes, the encoders...
Though it's an easy task with an interrupt on a µC, it doesn't seem to be that easy on a scope.
The most annoying for me is the "universal" knob, f.....g knob.
Not such a problem with the others with detent.

What kind of relation this have with this bug what is subject. No one can follow, example Siglent,  these if all are messed with what ever.
I will recommend to start one separate thread for these encoders. Or example here: https://www.eevblog.com/forum/testgear/siglent-sds1104x-e-wobbly-encoders/

OT is many times ok but when thread is specially just for one defined bug in one defined model...   Also this bug do not have anything to do with other models. This is SDS2000X-E bug, not 1000 something, not 2000 something etc...

And Siglent also read here in forum these things. But I believe it is some times bit hard because every thread is total OT mess after few days.

BEV of course. Cars with smoke exhaust pipes - go to museum. In Finland quite all electric power is made using nuclear, wind, solar and water.

Wises must compel the mad barbarians to stop their crimes against humanity. Where have the (strong)wises gone?

solved with firmware update 1.1.20R3, thanks to user rea: https://www.eevblog.com/forum/testgear/siglent-sds2000x-e/msg3584977/#msg3584977
It seems that Siglent has been putting that firmware release on new scopes from the beginning of 2021, but for some reason their site still contains the old and buggy 1.1.19R5

I have tried to replicate this through a esp32 dev board as I don't own a function generator. ~1uS pulse every 1 second with no problems.
