Keithley 2306 (2300 series) burst mode
« on: August 28, 2024, 05:52:53 pm »
Hello,

according to the specification of the "PULSE CURRENT MEASUREMENT OPERATION", there is a burst mode, which features current measurements with higher rates.

Quote
BURST MODE:
Measurement Aperture: 33.3μs.
Conversion Rate: 3600/second, typical.
Number of Samples: 1 to 5000.
Transfer Samples Across IEEE Bus in Binary Mode: 4800 bytes/ second, typical.

I did not find in the manual how to set up such a burst measurement. Does anybody know or has an idea?

The "Pulse current measurement procedure" is explained in the manual (this version of it, anyway) around page 69.

Thank you! They call it "Pulse current digitization" in the manual. I've missed that somehow earlier this day.
