This is an interesting approach  for high-bandwidth scopes -abandon standard probes and make a low-ish cost active probe.
Needs some ergonomics work on the cable & cooling, but looks promising.

That ADC is a little too rich for my blood ...

Someone do one with HMCAD1511 for the Parallella board.

I was wondering what would happen someone outside of the test equipment realm decided to produce hardware for that realm.  Turns out that the standard players aren't doing a lot of innovating at all.  *yawn* what a shocker...
