Brymen BM867S with Rechargeable Li-ion Batteries

Hello,
After much debate i think i'll be buying the Brymen BM867s and well i just don't like buying single use batteries.
So was wondering how the BM867s would work with rechargeable PP9 Li-ion batteries which i believe are 7.4v ?
