This.

But I just can't. Someone should though!

(No affiliation, just think it is a pretty good deal)

This gets posted here quite a lot, no? I can recall seeing just the same meter in buy sell wanted yesterday.

Smelly fishy to me...

Just went and saw the other post, and I see why you might think that, but I didn't see it, and posted independently.

Anyway, I was just dreaming about it, that's all.

Josh.

For me, access to a USB 3 capable oscilloscope (14ghz) for checking a  USB 3 hub project. Just have to hope the PCB design works.

I wish I had more space and more time.

Time to fix up some of the awesome but broken (or out of spec) gear I have around.  Once I get one of my Tek 7T11 plugins working correctly I will probably have everything I need to verify and adjust my HP 5370A.

Space to have more things on the bench at once, and some more space for more grungy machining-type activities.

Don't beat me now please. But before I spend 650 Euros on a 7.5 Digit meter, I would go all the way up and grab one of the Schlumberger Solartron 8.5 figure ones.

They tend to be around 1k to 1k1, and before I piss the difference away on some crap or throw it into my retirement fund which I hope to never use...

Fuck. That price lights up the Greed lamps in the back of my head. But I already have an HP 34401A which sees so little use. And two Unigors, and a Praecitronic MV40 and a Keithley 177 which I just restored but which didnt see a single minute of productive use ever since it came here.

Isn't that a 7 1/2 multimeter? Or did it also come in a 8 1/2 version?

For those of you who are happy with a 6 1/2 multimeter and want to play along at home with a brand new multimeter that looks very professional, could have a look at China :)

Note that ZLG is a professional company with a good reputation, and not just some new Chinese kid on the block :)

Often I switch off all those pesky digits back to 4.5 mode, so I can do quick checks on power supplies and logic levels, instead of watching those digits jump like mad. ;)
Every tool have it's best spot, outside of which it's not that great.

That's one of the advantages of those cheap sub 25 USD digital multimeters.

When taking measurements you don't have to round up yourself. The meter does it automatically for you :)

This is what we can call customer convenience and user friendliness,
to all you 7 1/2 and 8 1/2 afficionado's! Try to beat that with your candy eye yewel! :)
