This stuff you've been posting was in a flood no doubt. Or left outside. Sad.

This is one of five. The worst one. I've finished a 575, am mostly done with a 535 and next in line is a 547 followed by a 549. The Heathkit rounds out the group of 6 that I grabbed off Craig's List. Got a great deal even considering the two lost causes.

While it may be a total loss there is a proven method for cleaning up Tek scopes subject to this abuse.

Remove all the tubes including the CRT.
Remove the power transformer and either cover, or better still, remove the HV transformer.
Spray the entire chassis with Simple Green, allow to soak for a while.
Hose it down with preferable de-ionized or distilled water.
Bake in an oven at about 150 F for a few days.

Granted, it's a lot of work and you still might have a basket case. It's a tough call.
An old gray beard with an attitude.

Ohh, it hurts to see that.  But if you're feeling ambitious and want to roll the dice, follow med's advice & strip it down and give it a bath.  It certainly can't HURT it any further...

If it jams, force it.  If it breaks, you needed a new one anyway...
